Select People in Moorooka, Queensland, is seeking an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to start your career in automotive. This open-age apprenticeship welcomes junior and mature-age applicants and offers hands-on experience in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs while you complete your trade.

You'll work in a modern workshop with experienced technicians, gain practical skills on a range of vehicles, and have the chance for a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy, well-established automotive workshop in Moorooka.

This is an open-age apprenticeship, and we welcome applications from both junior and mature-age candidates. Previous mechanical experience isn't essential. What matters most is that you're reliable, mechanically minded, willing to learn and genuinely committed to completing your trade.

You'll be working alongside experienced technicians in a modern workshop, gaining hands‑on experience across vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs while completing your nationally recognised automotive qualification.

Previous workshop experience, automotive studies or hands‑on mechanical experience at home would be looked upon favourably.
