Job summary

Morton Landscaping is seeking a motivated Apprentice Horticulturist to join our team delivering high quality residential landscapes across the Southern Highlands. You’ll develop practical skills, learn from experienced professionals and contribute to sustaining premium garden standards.

This entry-level role offers formal training toward a nationally recognised qualification, mentoring from horticultural experts, and exposure to diverse, high-quality residential gardens.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in plants and horticulture.
• Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Horticulture.
• Driver's licence preferred.
• Previous experience is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, soil preparation and garden establishment.
• Learn plant identification, plant health and horticultural practices.
• Undertake pruning, hedging, fertilising and general garden maintenance.
• Assist with irrigation systems and garden improvements.
• Operate and maintain professional horticultural tools and equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas.
• Work collaboratively with the team and maintain professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, soil preparation and garden establishment.
