Job summary

Squad, in conjunction with our valued Host Employer, is seeking a passionate individual to begin an Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics in January 2027. The role offers hands-on experience with routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles, with training and PPE provided. The program covers tuition costs and ongoing mentoring throughout the apprenticeship journey.

Locations: 3630. Commencement January 2027.

• Genuine interest in heavy vehicles and mechanics.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment
• Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical faults
• Replacing or repairing faulty parts
• Using specialised tools and equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Completing job cards and service reports
• Adhering to workplace health and safety policies
• Attending off-site training and completing coursework as part of your apprenticeship
