Qualifications

• Must commit to a full-time, four-year apprenticeship.
• Interest in trucks and heavy equipment.
• Reliable and safety-focused.
• Light Vehicle Mechanics welcome.
• Willing to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles.
• Learn fault finding and mechanical diagnostics.
• Use advanced workshop equipment and computer-aided diagnostic technology.
• Gain hands-on experience in hydraulics, electrical systems and welding.
• Carry out preventative maintenance under supervision.
• Follow safe work practices and keep the workshop clean.
• Work as part of a supportive team.
• Complete a Certificate III while gaining hands-on experience.
