Job summary

Townscape Garden Managers invites applications for a Cert III Parks & Gardens Apprentice to join our Melbourne-based team. You will be trained in real commercial horticulture across various sites, learning hands-on lawn care, irrigation and garden maintenance.

The role requires travel around Melbourne, a reliable transport option, and a strong team or independent work ethic. We value punctuality and a proactive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel around Melbourne with travel allowance.
• Physically fit, reliable, punctual and hard working.
• Own reliable transport.
• Industry experience and irrigation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional garden services including mowing, slashing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, planting, hedge trimming and leaf removal.
• Ride on mower and push mower operation.
• Irrigation maintenance and repairs; general irrigation tasks.
• Tool maintenance and upkeep.
• Maintain professional relationships and report to clients; take photos while working.
• Work on industrial and commercial sites; standard week Monday to Friday, 6am start, 8-hour days.

Townscape Garden Managers is looking for a motivated Cert III in Parks & Gardens Apprentice to join our growing team. We maintain commercial buildings, industrial estates, shopping centres, and corporate landscapes across Melbourne.

This is a hands-on role where you'll learn real commercial horticulture—not just mowing lawns.

We are looking for.

Someone who is able and willing to travel around Melbourne (rate paid includes travel allowance)

Industry experience and confident irrigation (preferred)

Own reliable transport
