The role blends practical workshop training with formal TAFE studies, covering CNC and manual machining, fitting, drawing interpretation, and safety compliance.

You’ll start at Bethania, with relocation to our new Yatala facility planned for 2027, and opportunities to grow within Laserbond’s advanced surface engineering

Qualifications

• Four-year apprenticeship leading to Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
• Practical workplace training plus formal TAFE studies.
• Learning manual and CNC machining, fitting, drawing reading, safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Train and work across workshop activities learning machining and fitting tasks.
• Develop skills through hands-on projects and formal studies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards in a fast-paced engineering environment.
