Job summary

Tridon Australia, based in Silverwater, NSW, is seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Fitter Machinist or TA to join our maintenance team.

You will work under qualified staff while pursuing a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, with exposure to presses, servo feeders, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and bespoke machinery.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or have work rights; a positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude toward the trade
• Ability to use initiative and take direction
• Written and Verbal communication skills
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol tests

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, preventative maintenance and breakdown service of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to presses, servo feeders, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and bespoke machinery.
• Under supervision of qualified staff, pursue recognised TAFE qualifications while working on site.
