Job summary

Debutant Dining and Debbi's in Wollongong NSW is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our French steakhouse, working closely with local beef producers and grilling over a woodfire.

You will learn different kitchen sections, ensuring dishes meet our recipes and specifications, while collaborating with the Head Chef to grow your skills in food preparation and presentation, and maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.

Debutant Dining and Debbi's – Wollongong NSW

Debutant is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice to join the team. We are a French Steakhouse in central Wollongong working closely with local beef producers to create dishes showcasing in-house dry aged beef. Operating from Wednesday to Saturday, we guarantee a regular 3 day weekend.

As an apprentice, you will be responsible for learning different sections of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with our recipes and specifications.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and the team to maintain consistency and quality in all aspects of food production, while increasing the depth of your knowledge of food preparation and presentation.

All our proteins are cooked over a woodfire, so experience with grilling meat is preferred.

There may also be an opportunity to work at RUKI Robatayaki Grill & Bar our other venue.
