Job summary

CVGT along with Ja'Da Concrete Group is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to commence or continue their Certificate III in Carpentry. You will gain hands-on experience across residential and light commercial construction while learning from experienced tradespeople.

The full-time apprenticeship spans four years in the Sunbury area, with opportunities to develop practical carpentry skills and advance within the industry.

Qualifications

• Pass a Police Check.
• Working with Children’s Check.
• White Card (CPCCWHS) are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified carpenters with residential and light commercial construction projects.
• Learn and perform carpentry tasks including framing, formwork and timber construction.
• Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment and materials.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite following WHS, SWMS and PPE requirements.
• Work professionally with supervisors, tradespeople, subcontractors and clients.
• Demonstrate commitment to learning, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Represent CVGT and Ja'Da Concrete Group professionally.
