Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking an Apprentice Avionics Technician to join our ILM facility at RAAF Amberley. You will learn from world class maintenance technicians, applying theory to real-world aeronautical systems fitted to the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler.

The apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics), focusing on safe work practices, quality and regulatory compliance under Defence standards.

Qualifications

• Must have completed all theory training requirements of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics).
• Willingness to learn and passion for the role.
• Good communication and teamwork to support a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake training requirements and maintain apprenticeship progression.
• Assist and perform maintenance tasks to facilitate repair and overhaul of aeronautical product.
• Adhere to Work, Health and Safety regulations and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
