Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Trades Certificate or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related Engineering discipline.
• Interest in industrial automation, communications, control systems, mining technologies.
• Experience delivering engineering projects or engineered-to-order solutions.
• Understanding of hazardous area engineering principles (or willingness to learn).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience with mining communications, gas monitoring, or control systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engineered-to-order solutions meeting customer requirements for functionality, safety, reliability, and performance.
• Support the design, development, testing, and commissioning of engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams, operations, and manufacturing to ensure successful project delivery.
• Assist with technical proposals, solution design, and customer engagement activities.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with relevant Australian and international standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to cost-effective engineering outcomes while maintaining quality, compliance, and profitability.
