Job description

What you'll doAs the Applications Manager (REDCap), you will lead the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise REDCap applications, ensuring access requests are managed in accordance with established custodian requirements and relevant policies. Acting as the primary service management point of contact, you will oversee system access, develop training and knowledge resources, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure applications continue to meet current and future business needs. You will be responsible for managing software releases, system enhancements, testing, patching, preventative maintenance, and service continuity planning, including disaster recovery and outage management. In this role, you will monitor application performance, manage risk, auditing and compliance requirements, and establish governance frameworks that support the appropriate use of applications and health information. You will provide expert advice to senior leaders on opportunities to enhance the use of health data and information, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the Department of Health, and contribute to strategic initiatives that support service and program objectives. Using sound judgement and ethical decision-making, you will also escalate critical issues when required and undertake additional duties to support the priorities of the Digital Health Branch.About youWe are searching for someone who has:A comprehensive understanding of the Queensland Health environment, with demonstrated experience and knowledge of Queensland Health data collections, sources and data governance requirements.Comprehensive contemporary knowledge in the system, workflow and design of projects in the REDCapDemonstrated ability managing an enterprise application, providing specialist advice and application support activities in alignment with ITIL service management.Highly developed written and oral communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills including experience in stakeholder relationship management.Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment.Flexible and agile professional approach, including the ability to work autonomously and showWhy work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
