Job summary

Zone IT Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Appian Developer with strong client-facing experience to design, develop, and deploy Appian-based applications. The role emphasizes low-code automation, enterprise architecture, and leading multiple client engagements.

Ideal candidates will have 4–8 years of client-facing experience, familiarity with ERP/CRM/BPM, and hands-on Appian development with Java language. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of client-facing experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of Appian based applications.
• Working knowledge of automation and low-code trends, standards, practices.
• Understanding of ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, Data Integration Architecture or EAI and/or applied knowledge of enterprise architecture, including data management.
• Experience with Appian custom development (e.g., language -Java).
• Familiarity with a range of automation and low-code platforms.
• Experience leading teams and coaching junior staff.
• Ability to provide insight based on experience on recommended actions.
• Industry experience in Financial Services preferred but not required.
• Ability to navigate challenges posed by clients and highlight risks as well as solutions for mitigating risks identified.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Developer Certification(s) to credentials your Appian experience, along with the motivation to keep learning more.
• Ability to lead multiple engagements concurrently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements in the design, development, and deployment of Appian-based applications.
• Provide insight and guidance on automation and low-code trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, and data integration domains.
• Contribute to Appian development and related Java language work.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and project teams.
• Navigate client challenges, identify risks, and propose mitigations.
