Job summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to join our Sydney team. The role requires hands-on Appian design and development with a track record of delivering BPM solutions and process automation.

You will optimize applications, integrate with enterprise systems, and support CI/CD practices in a hybrid working environment. You should have 5+ years of Appian experience, strong knowledge of SAIL, Process Models, and web services, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with analysts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of Appian design and development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites.
• Experience with Appian Cloud Administration, Plug-ins, Appian RPA, and Appian Connected Systems.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize Appian applications including interfaces, rules, integrations, and process models.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply Appian best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RDBMS, REST/SOAP.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Appian applications.
• Document technical designs and provide support during UAT and production.
• Drive Agile and DevOps adoption through CI/CD and automated testing.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Appian Designer with 5 years of Appian Design and Development experience implementing BPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Appian development, process automation, performance tuning and improvement, platform administration and integration with enterprise systems.

Salary: AUD 108,571 - 119, 893 Annual Gross

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design, Implement and optimize Appian applications including interface, rules, integrations, Records, Sites, Reports, and Process Models.


• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.


• Implement Appian best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.


• Integrate Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RDBMS, REST/SOAP APIs and third-party services.


• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Appian applications.


• Document technical designs and provide support during UAT and production.


• Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and best practices across Appian applications.


• Plan and track implementation of best practices, including productivity, maturity and quality improvements


• Drive Agile and DevOps adoption through CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and release management best practices.

Essential

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


• 5 years of experience in Appian design and development


• Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites


• Experience with Appian Cloud Administration, Plug-ins, Appian RPA, and Appian Connected Systems


• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).


• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred

• Appian Level 2 Certification or higher.
