Job summary
Renaissance Info Systems in Sydney is hiring an API Technical Lead to own API design and development using Apigee. This permanent role requires hands-on work in OpenShift and Rancher environments, Node.js and TypeScript, and strong Kubernetes expertise to run containerized apps in production.
You will provide technical leadership, design solutions, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive delivery with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and developing APIs (Apigee) with hands-on implementation.
- Hands-on experience in OpenShift and/or Rancher environments on premises.
- Development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of API architecture, security, governance, and integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms, OpenShift and/or Rancher.
- Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications in production.
Responsibilities
- Lead API design and delivery across projects.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
- Design scalable solutions and govern architectural decisions.
- Ensure production readiness with robust DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
