Job summary

Synechron, a global IT outsourcing provider focusing on banking, finance and payments, is seeking an API Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications. You will work with Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured and CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should have strong testing skills, knowledge of RESTful services, JSON/XML, version control, Agile and DevOps practices, and excellent collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an API Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of API testing techniques and tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST-assured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and enterprise applications.
