The Weir Group in Brisbane or Sydney is seeking a Head of Business Technology APAC to lead the technology agenda across the region, partnering with senior leaders to translate business priorities into strategic technology outcomes.

You will drive major transformation programs, manage governance, and build a high-performing regional team, with travel up to 20% and a strong focus on safety and value realization.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience within a complex, global organisation.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape technology strategy and investments.
• Strong knowledge of ERP platforms and large-scale transformation programs (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams in matrixed environments.
• Expertise in change management, business readiness, and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technology advisor to APAC senior leaders, aligning initiatives with business strategy and priorities.
• Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and align with enterprise programs.
• Lead governance and prioritisation of technology demand and investments.
• Oversee value realisation, risk management, security, compliance, and data governance.
