Job summary

DTEX is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to modernize infrastructure using automation and IaC practices. You will design software in Python to provision, deploy, and configure systems, and drive standardization with Terraform, Ansible, and Git across production environments.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and applications, implement robust monitoring, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, fostering blameless postmortems and continuous

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production environments in AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python; write clean, maintainable, and testable code to solve infrastructure problems.
• Experience with Terraform, including best practices for state management and modular design.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and Bash scripting/CLI operations.
• Proficiency with Ansible and/or SaltStack as configuration management tools.
• Expert level understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain Python automation for provisioning, deployment, and configuration management of our infrastructure.
• Advance Terraform adoption with best practices for state management, modular design, and version control.
• Utilize Ansible and/or SaltStack to ensure consistency and standardization across environments.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement and mature monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively improve reliability.
• Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation and drive blameless postmortems.
• Champion SRE principles, automation, and coding best practices within the team.
