Job summary

DTEX Systems is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong software background to modernize infrastructure and operations. You will automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management, leveraging Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to scale environments securely and reproducibly.

You will design robust monitoring and alerting, support follow-the-sun incident response, and champion SRE best practices while partnering with security-focused teams in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production environments in AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Python with clean, testable code for infra problems.
• Experience with Terraform, including state management and modular design in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and Bash scripting.
• Proficiency with Ansible and/or Saltstack for configuration management.
• Expert understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain software to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management of infrastructure.
• Contribute to Terraform best practices for state management, modular design, and version control.
• Utilize Ansible and/or Saltstack to ensure consistency across environments.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement and mature monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability.
• Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation and drive blameless postmortems.
