Job summary

State Street Investment Management in Sydney seeks a strategic Head of APAC Shareholder Services (SHS) to lead a diverse regional team and deliver scalable, risk-controlled shareholder services and client trading operations. The role partners with Global SHS in North America and EMEA to drive transformation and excellence.

The successful candidate will foster accountability, manage performance, and ensure alignment with global operating models and strategic objectives across APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in investment management operations, transfer agency, shareholder services, client trading, fund operations, or related fields.
• Proven people leadership experience managing regional or multi-location teams.
• Strong understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, shareholder servicing, client trading, and fund operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse APAC SHS team across the region.
• Oversee all APAC Shareholder Services and Client Trading activities.
• Drive risk excellence, governance, and process improvement across APAC SHS.
• Partner with Global SHS teams and other functions on strategic initiatives.
