Job summary

Graymont seeks a Regional Manager, Mineral Resources Development (APAC) to lead the mining engineering and geology teams across the APAC region, driving identification, evaluation and development of mineral resources while aligning with operations and sustainability goals.

You will partner with Operations, Environment, Projects and executive leadership to ensure a robust mineral resource portfolio, rehabilitation planning, decarbonisation efforts, and continuous improvement across Graymont’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in mining engineering or geology within operational mining.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Extensive experience in mineral resource evaluation, Reserve estimation, Mine planning.
• Exploration and resource development experience.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple organisational levels.
• Current driver’s license.
• Valid passport with international travel ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Mining and Geology teams to provide high-quality technical support to operational sites across APAC.
• Align geological and mining activities with regional business priorities and operational requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain a long-term mineral resource portfolio.
• Oversee geological modelling, resource estimation and reserve reporting.
• Lead technical due diligence activities for acquisitions, divestments and strategic growth opportunities.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting of departmental activities and performance metrics.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture across dispersed sites.
