Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join our IT team in Adelaide. You will support APAC offices and collaborate with global team members to troubleshoot issues across desktop, printers, networks, and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related technical discipline is required; alternatives may be evaluated
2-4 years of experience supporting customers in a business environment
Experience in a help desk/service desk/IT support role is a strong plus
Proficiency in troubleshooting and documenting solutions
Must understand network terminology and remote access devices
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide hardware break‑fix services and prepare equipment for replacement or onboarding
Assist end users in-person and remotely to resolve basic IT, copier/printer, or network issues
Escalate calls to IT teams and manage tickets to ensure timely resolution
Support asset and inventory management activities
Document work, progress, and resolutions in the Service Desk system
Maintain timely ticket notes and communications
Create end-user documentation and train global users
Monitor daily activities to ensure calls are handled promptly
