Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CFA progress a plus.
• Experience at asset management or investment bank; fixed income preferred.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with statistical tools (R, Python) is a plus.
• Willingness to embrace AI and adapt to new research processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fundamental credit analysis of APAC financial and corporate issuers across the rating spectrum.
• Monitor and research economic, industry, and company data including filings, transcripts and quarterly results.
• Provide investment recommendations and credit updates to global portfolio management teams and external clients when required.
• Monitor existing portfolio holdings and generate trade ideas for portfolio implementation.
• Collaborate with analysts and portfolio managers globally on investment ideas, including relative value across capital structure.
• Build relationships across fixed income and UBS Asset Management with sell-side analysts and company management.
• Embrace AI to enhance and evolve the research process.
