Job summary

Wellington Management in Australia/NZ seeks an entry-level Business Associate to support the Institutional team in ANZ, helping grow relationships with institutional clients.

You will collaborate with Business Developers, Relationship Managers and Relationship Analysts to coordinate client servicing, materials, and information requests across internal stakeholders. A strong learning mindset and problem-solving approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or candidate with up to one year of relevant professional experience, ideally gained through internships or roles in investment management, financial services, or a related field.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Interest in applying AI and digital tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and outcomes.
• Strong academic credentials, Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; CFA would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and coordination of client and business development activities, including meeting materials, presentations, RFPs, RFIs and follow-up actions.
• Support implementation activities and ongoing client servicing requirements by coordinating with BD, RMs and RAs.
• Assist with routine information requests and client servicing by coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders.
• Capture and maintain client data in internal CRM systems and Salesforce.
• Build effective working relationships across the firm to support client, operational and business activities.
• Develop understanding of client priorities, Wellington’s products and market developments, and share information with internal teams.
• Support ANZ Institutional team’s operational, administrative and project coordination activities, including meeting logistics and tracking deliverables.
• Take on other tasks and projects assigned by the team.
