Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a Sales Engineer to work with partners across Australia and New Zealand, delivering deep technical guidance and demonstrations that map to customer needs and strengthen security postures.

The role requires familiarity with regional regulatory bodies, threat landscapes, and the MSP community, and involves traveling across the ANZ region to engage with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• Experience with cybersecurity technologies and MSP ecosystems.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and partner networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ANZ SME in cybersecurity and Blackpoint product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support to bridge the technical gap to customers.
• Lead demos and trials, uncover customer pain points, and translate complexity into actionable insights.
• Present webinars and educate partners on capabilities and differentiators.
• Apply knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and privacy laws to help customers meet goals.
• Provide customer-driven insights to Product/Engineering for roadmap alignment.
• Build knowledge of ACSC/NCSC/CERT NZ and MSP engagement in AU/NZ.
