Job summary

Danone ANZ seeks an experienced ANZ Category Buyer Topline in Sydney to own the Topline sourcing strategy and supplier network. You will lead a small team, drive responsible sourcing, and implement new PO workflows to simplify procurement.

You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance and partner with stakeholders to deliver value and governance. A strong procurement background and SAP/Asana experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business preferred.
• At least 2 years' procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Solid project management, planning and organisational skills; intermediate Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Asana; Power BI is a plus.

• Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers for the Topline category.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to drive value and compliance.
• Manage supplier performance, risk and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing with business needs.

• Own Release Strategy governance from ServiceNow updates to PO workflow issues.
• Lead and develop two direct reports to deliver new systems and ways of working.
• Drive procurement simplification through continuous improvement.

About The Job

Smart sourcing. Strong partnerships. Real impact. Join our ANZ Procurement team as ANZ Category Buyer Topline and shape how we source the goods and services that keep Danone moving.

Based in Sydney, within our Cycles and Procurement function, you will own the Topline category, making smart, independent sourcing decisions that deliver value, compliance and impact.

This is a role with real autonomy and ownership. You will lead a small team, champion responsible sourcing and bring fresh Ways of Working to life, including new Purchase Order workflows that make procurement simpler for everyone.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Source, evaluate and onboard the right suppliers for the Topline category.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing that drive value and compliance.
• Manage supplier performance, risk and contractual obligations.
• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing with business needs.
• Champion responsible sourcing as ANZ RESPECT Champion, supporting EcoVadis, Sedex and B Corp compliance.
• Own Release Strategy governance, from ServiceNow updates and approvals to resolving PO workflow issues.
• Lead and develop two direct reports to deliver new systems and ways of working.
• Simplify procurement through continuous improvement, including new Purchase Order workflows.
• Contribute to our Operations Strategy through the 4Cs: Customer Centricity, Cost Optimisation, Cash Efficiency and Carbon Reduction.

About You

You are a confident negotiator and natural relationship builder who enjoys owning outcomes. You balance commercial sharpness with strong governance, and you love finding simpler, smarter ways to get things done.

Organised, accountable and people-focused, you make fact-based decisions independently, bring stakeholders with you and take pride in helping your team grow.

Ideally, you will have:

• A bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business (preferred).
• At least 2 years' procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and communication skills.
• Solid project management, planning and organisational skills.Intermediate Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP and Asana.
• Experience with Power BI (an advantage).
