Job summary

Janison is seeking a Full Stack Developer (UI) to deliver high-quality client reporting solutions with a primary focus on Angular front-end development in a fixed-term role through to 30 June 2027. The role involves finishing AI-generated first-cut reports to production quality and collaborating with Product, Operations and Development teams.

You will refine AI-generated reports, build reusable components, and ensure accessibility, performance, and integration with Insights data and .NET

Qualifications

• Proven Angular (v17+) experience delivering complex, data-rich UIs.
• Strong HTML/CSS/SCSS and modern JavaScript skills with WCAG accessibility.
• Experience with AI coding tools and refining AI-generated code.
• Knowledge of C#/.NET APIs and enterprise SQL.
• Experience with GitHub workflows and PR reviews.

Responsibilities

• Take AI-generated first-cut reports and finish them to production quality in Angular and TypeScript, covering layout, interactivity, data visualisation and responsive behaviour.
• Write production-ready, testable front-end code aligned with standards, flagging any change touching student PII for review.
• Build and extend reusable report components, styles and patterns so new reports can be assembled quickly and consistently.
• Work across the stack where needed, integrating reports with Insights data, back-end APIs (C#/.NET) and SQL queries, and resolving performance issues end to end.
• Support other Insights reporting products as priorities require.
• Review AI-generated code critically for correctness, security, accessibility and maintainability, identification and remediation of older Angular patterns, and remaining accountable for everything delivered.
• Improve the AI skills, prompts and templates that generate first-cut reports, reducing the rework each iteration needs.
• Review and clarify reporting requirements with Product and Operations, identifying gaps and edge cases early.
• Collaborate with SCRUM team, committing to realistic work and communicating blockers, delays and risks before escalation.
• Work through the GitHub pull request workflow, including code review and GitHub Actions.
• Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting of reporting issues, including during large-scale testing events, using Azure Application Insights.
• Review code and share effective front-end and AI-assisted development patterns with the team.
• Provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders, document your work and complete a structured handover before the end of the contract term.
