Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is seeking an Android Engineer to contribute to the development, maintenance and support of ABC's mobile Android applications. You will build features with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ensuring performance, security and accessibility across platforms.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and the product team to deliver high-quality digital experiences at scale, participate in testing, releases and monitoring, and stay current with Android best

Qualifications

• Significant experience building scalable, secure, accessible apps across mobile platforms.
• Advanced Android development skills with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with automated testing and modern Android tooling.

Responsabilités

• Develop features and reusable components for ABC Android apps.
• Deliver solutions aligned with roadmap focusing on performance, security and accessibility.
• Collaborate on planning and delivery of major product features, owning your area.
• Identify, investigate and resolve production issues and contribute to improvements.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, releases and production monitoring.
• Stay updated with Android best practices and emerging tools.
