Job summary

NSW Treasury is seeking an Associate Analytics Consultant to develop strategic procurement intelligence and build Power BI dashboards across multiple data sources. You will translate data into actionable insights to inform decisions and support ministerial priorities, while collaborating with Treasury and external stakeholders.

You will work within the Data & Analytics Division, bringing experience in reporting, automation and analytics to enhance procurement reform efforts for NSW.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with end to end PowerBI dashboard build, implementation and maintenance covering ETL processes, DAX formulas, dashboard design and User Acceptance Tests
• Proven experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps or similar
• Proven experience liaising and managing stakeholders in complex devolved environments relating to analytics delivery
• Familiarity with financial data, procurement data or similar
• Self-starting attitude to propose continuous improvement and recommend innovative ways of working
• Competency with MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic procurement intelligence and build Power BI dashboards using a range of data sources
• Turn data into actionable insights and reports that improve decision-making and support business improvements
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests on Ministerial priorities
• Collaborate with Treasury, NSW government agencies and external stakeholders
