Job summary

Kmart is seeking an Analyst in Melbourne to turn customer and market data into actionable insights that drive growth and better experiences across the Kmart Group.

You will work with diverse data sources, deliver reporting on customer behaviour, engagement and trends, and partner with Data, AI and BI teams to automate insights workflows.

The role suits a curious, detail-oriented analyst with 1–3 years of experience in analytics, reporting or customer insights.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in analytics, reporting or customer insights roles.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with descriptive analytics, reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with customer, marketing, digital or retail datasets.
• Experience analysing research, survey or Voice of Customer data.
• Strong data wrangling and manipulation skills across databases and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver quality outcomes on time.
• A curious mindset and the confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with others.
• Experience working in a retail environment, ideally with Kmart or Target, will be highly regarded.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join our team! As an Analyst within our Customer team, you'll be responsible for analysing customer and market data to deliver actionable insights that help drive growth and improve customer experiences across the Kmart Group. You'll work with a variety of data sources and stakeholders to provide reporting, identify trends and support key business decisions.
