Job summary

Judo Bank is seeking a credit risk professional to partner with bankers and deliver smart credit insight that supports Australian SME outcomes. You will review loan applications, assess risk and help maintain strong relationships with customers while upholding rigorous risk governance in a fast-growing bank.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services or professional services in a similar role.
• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong financial acumen and sound financial management skills.
• High levels of digital literacy and confidence working across systems.
• Well developed investigative, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with bankers to deliver smart credit insight and risk management that enables exceptional SME customer outcomes
• Support the ongoing care and growth of customer portfolios, balancing strong relationships with sound risk judgement
• Assess customer risk by reviewing character, capacity, capital, collateral and overall needs
• Conduct credit analysis, including reviewing loan and credit applications, running credit reports, assessing loan extensions and renewals, identifying risks, completing borrowing base analyses and preparing collateral reports
• Present clear and concise insights that enable confident, timely decisions and support Judo’s speed to market
• Take accountability for compliance, annual reviews and documentation, ensuring Judo’s regulatory obligations are met
• Actively contribute to improving how we work, sharing ideas that enhance systems, processes and the customer value proposition
