Job summary

ISLHD in the Shoalhaven region is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager – Anaesthetics to lead the nursing team as Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital opens new operating theatres and expands perioperative services. You will provide clinical and operational leadership, coordinate day‑to‑day operations, and support workforce planning to deliver safe, patient‑centred care across perioperative services.

• Leadership of the anaesthetic nursing team, including staff allocation, rostering, supervision and development.
• Coordination of resources and day‑to‑day service requirements to support perioperative care.
• Promotion of safe, evidence‑based anaesthetic and perioperative practice.
• Contributing to development and improvement of nursing practice in response to patient and service needs.
• Collaboration across Perioperative Services with other healthcare disciplines to support theatre operations.
