Mater Mothers Hospital invites applications for an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (Ambulatory and Birthing). This 0.5 FTE fixed-term role offers a shared arrangement across a fortnight, based at the South Brisbane campus.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as Midwife and/or RN.
• Tertiary qualifications in health management, business or related disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care.
• Lead development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks, policies and quality initiatives.
• Drive evidence-based clinical practice and continuous service improvement.
• Develop operational/clinical service plans aligned with Mater's objectives.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs on clinical outcomes, workforce and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditation standards and WHS.
• Build relationships with clinicians, visiting medical officers and partners.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams; foster collaboration.
• Drive workforce planning, performance management and succession planning.
• Champion patient engagement, research and innovation.
