Job summary

Labourforce at the Coles Automated Distribution Centre in Kemps Creek is seeking reliable Twin Tyne Forklift Operators and Despatch Loading Operators to join our team. The roles involve safe operation of twin tyne forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring precise stock movement within a modern, high‑tech distribution facility for one of Australia’s largest retailers.

Applicants should have 2 years’ twin tyne experience or 1–2 years despatch loading, a current Australian forklift

• 1–2 years' despatch loading experience, including loading/unloading trucks.
• Current and valid Australian forklift licence.

Responsibilities

FORKLIFT OPERATORS & DESPATCH LOADING OPERATORS
LABOURFORCE – COLES AUTOMATED DISTRIBUTION CENTRE, KEMPS CREEK

Pay Rate: $42–$47.00 per hour

Labourforce is seeking reliable, motivated and experienced Twin Tyne Forklift Operators and Despatch Loading Operators to join the team at the Coles Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) in Kemps Creek.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, high-tech distribution facility supporting one of Australia's largest retailers.

We are looking for safety-focused candidates with proven experience in either twin tyne forklift operations or despatch loading who can contribute to the safe, efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout the warehouse.

ABOUT THE ROLES

Twin Tyne Forklift Operators

Responsible for safely operating twin tyne forklifts to transport, move and replenish stock throughout the distribution centre, supporting warehouse operations and maintaining an efficient flow of goods.

Despatch Loading Operators

Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling pallets and ensuring goods are accurately and safely prepared for dispatch in accordance with operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate forklifts, including twin tyne forklifts where applicable.
• Load and unload trucks and transport pallets and stock throughout the warehouse.
• Perform despatch loading duties, ensuring goods are loaded accurately and securely.
• Move, handle and replenish stock efficiently.
• Support the movement of goods through warehouse and automated distribution systems.
• Complete pre-start forklift safety checks and report equipment issues.
• Maintain accuracy and follow dispatch procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
• Follow all workplace health and safety, quality and compliance requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Twin Tyne Forklift Operators: Minimum 2 years' specific experience operating twin tyne forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Despatch Loading Operators: Minimum 1–2 years' experience in despatch loading, including loading and unloading trucks and handling pallets safely.
• Current and valid Australian Forklift Licence for forklift operator positions.
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to meet operational targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg when required.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to working as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work across a Monday-to-Saturday roster, including additional days during peak periods.

SHIFT DETAILS – MONDAY TO SATURDAY ROSTER

Day Shift

• Start times between 5:00 am and 7:00 am.
• 10-hour shifts may be required.

Afternoon Shift

• 3:00 pm – 11:06 pm.
• 10-hour shifts may be required.

Flexibility with rostered shifts and additional availability during peak periods is essential.

PAY RATE

$42.50–$47.00 per hour

Hourly rates may vary depending on the position, experience and applicable employment conditions.
