Job summary

AirRoad in Meadowbrook (Brisbane) is hiring a Forklift Operator for the AM Operations team on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll safely load and unload freight, including palletised and oversized items, and move goods across the network while meeting tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a current Forklift License, with at least 1 year of forklift experience, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and operating in early morning shifts (Mon–Fri).

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
• Experience loading and unloading freight, including palletised and oversized items.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

The Role

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be part of a high-performing team in our Meadowbrook AM Operations, ensuring freight moves safely and efficiently through our network.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Early AM shift - permanent full-time position
• Safely loading and unloading freight, including palletised and oversized items
• Handling general freight with care to ensure secure and damage-free transport
• Following strict safety procedures and contributing to a zero-harm workplace

This is a hands-on role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Need

• A current and valid Forklift License
• Proven forklift experience - minimum 1 year preferred
• Experience loading and unloading interstate road freight trailers (preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in early AM operations and meet tight schedules
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
• AM shift - early morning start, Monday to Friday
• Overtime available when required
