Job summary

Allied Express requires a highly motivated Forklift Operator for express freight operations at our Archerfield depot. You will perform a mix of duties, including forklift operation, scanning, sorting and loading/unloading freight.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, starting at 05:00am, with duties including assisting inbound line-haul and freight processing, plus housekeeping as needed. You will be part of a team with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job description

Allied Express requires highly motivated Forklift Operator, for our express freight operations based at our Archerfield depot.

You will carry out a mixture of duties in your role.

Permanent role - Monday toFriday starting at 05:00am

Will be required to work off Forklift when requested.

You will support our inbound line-haul & freight processing operation.

Your Role:

Processing inbound and outbound freight according to Allied and regulatory standards ensuring it meets cut off deadlines.

Manual handling of freight in a team environment, use of handheld scanners to sort, unload, and distribute freight.

Helping out with additional tasks as required, including housekeeping.

Operating forklifts safely, moving pallets and freight to designated run bays/areas, loading and unloading of trucks when required.
