Job summary

Kattsafe is Australia's leading height safety and access solutions provider, and we're looking for a skilled Aluminium Manual Welder to join our afternoon shift team in Boronia.

Working with Fronius welding equipment, you'll be welding and fabricating aluminium components to engineering specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm. Join Kattsafe and help us save lives.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in welding or related field.
• Proven aluminium welding experience.
• Experience with MIG welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding of aluminium components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Mark out, cut, drill, prepare and fabricate components.
• Complete quality inspections and testing of finished products.
• Ensure fabrication work meets company quality standards.
• Identify and report product defects or issues.
• Follow all manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Support production activities within a collaborative team environment.

Kattsafe is Australia's leading height safety and access solutions provider, and we're looking for a skilled Aluminium Manual Welder to join our afternoon shift team in Boronia.

Working with industry-leading Fronius welding equipment, you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating aluminium components to engineering specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, you will:

• Perform MIG welding of aluminium components and assemblies
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
• Mark out, cut, drill, prepare and fabricate components
• Complete quality inspections and testing of finished products
• Ensure fabrication work meets company quality standards
• Identify and report product defects or issues
• Follow all manufacturing and safety procedures
• Support production activities within a collaborative team environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding or a related field
• Proven experience welding aluminium
• Experience using MIG welding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience
