Job summary

TRS Resourcing is recruiting an experienced trade- qualified Boilermaker for an established Melbourne manufacturer specialising in aluminium fuel tankers and transport equipment. This role offers consistent hours, regular overtime and a pathway to permanent employment.

You will work in a modern fabrication workshop, perform aluminium fabrication, MIG and TIG welding, read drawings and ensure weld quality while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator.
• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
• Proven aluminium fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Aluminium fabrication of fuel tankers and transport equipment.
• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Fabricating and assembling components to specification.
• Completing repair and modification work as required.
• Maintaining high standards of weld quality and workmanship.
• Working safely while meeting production requirements.

Boilermaker – Aluminium Fabrication

$58.50 per hour + Super + $27 Daily Travel Allowance + Overtime

Day Shift | Temp-to-Permanent | Immediate Start

TRS Resourcing is recruiting experienced Trade-Qualified Boilermakers for an established Australian manufacturer specialising in aluminium fuel tankers and transport equipment.

With a strong pipeline of work across the transport and fuel sectors, our client continues to invest in its people, workshop capability and long-term manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aluminium fabricator looking for consistent hours, regular overtime and the potential to move into permanent employment.

The Role Working within a modern fabrication workshop, you will be involved in the manufacture, repair and modification of aluminium fuel tankers and associated transport equipment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Aluminium fabrication of fuel tankers and transport equipment
• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components
• Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
• Fabricating and assembling components to specification
• Completing repair and modification work as required
• Maintaining high standards of weld quality and workmanship
• Working safely while meeting production requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  
  

About You We Are Looking For Candidates With

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator
• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• Proven aluminium fabrication experience
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding on aluminium
• Ability to confidently read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  
  

Experience working on fuel tankers, trailers, heavy transport equipment or pressure vessels will be highly regarded.

To Be Successful You Will Need To

• Be based in Melbourne or surrounding suburbs
• Hold full Australian working rights
• Provide two recent work references
• Have your own basic hand tools, with specialist equipment supplied
