Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Allocator to join the Blue Rock Quarry team in Australia. The role reports to the Quarry Manager and focuses on planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily truck allocations to ensure safe, efficient transport across quarry and customer sites.

This is a 12-month maximum-term position. You will coordinate daily scheduling, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain transport records while aiming to meet delivery deadlines and production needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally in Quarries.
• Experience in transport allocation, dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team as well as an ability to work autonomously.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and cost monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily scheduling and dispatch of trucks.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports and paperwork.
• Liaise with quarry operations, weighbridge staff, drivers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth transport coordination.
• Maintain accurate transport records, run sheets, job allocations, and system updates.
• Allocate loads efficiently to meet customer delivery timeframes and production requirements.

Fulton Hogan Industries are currently looking for an experienced Allocator to join the Blue Rock Quarry team. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily allocation of trucks, drivers, and loads to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transport operations across quarry and customer sites. This is a maximum-term position for a period of 12 months. Your Contribution:

• Coordinate the daily scheduling and dispatch of trucks.
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of reports and paperwork.
• Liaise with quarry operations, weighbridge staff, drivers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth transport coordination.
• Maintain accurate transport records, run sheets, job allocations, and system updates.
• Allocate loads efficiently to meet customer delivery timeframes and production requirements.

You will have proven experience in administrative roles, ideally in Quarries.

In addition:

• Previous experience in transport allocation, dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team as well as an ability to work autonomously.
• Effective communication skills, with an ability to liaise professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention-to-detail, and a focus on quality outcomes.
• Intermediate computer literacy data entry and cost monitoring.
