Job summary

Allied Health Atherton, part of Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, seeks an Allied Health Assistant - Advanced to support Allied Health Professionals with high level clinical and non-clinical activities and to deliver individual and group therapies to consumers, carers and families.

You will maintain treatment environments, manage equipment and provide admin support, stock control and loan services to ensure smooth operation and patient-centred care across services.

Qualifications

• Assist in Allied Health intervention and therapy under supervision.
• Maintain clinical environments, equipment inventory, cleaning and room prep.
• Provide administrative support including stocktaking and ordering.
• Manage Equipment Loan Services via maintenance and tracking.

The redevelopment of Atherton Hospital is architecturally distinct, yet reminiscent of the deep history of the site. About your role:
