Job summary

Early Start Australia is seeking a motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our Durack clinic on a casual basis. You will work with Therapists to plan, prepare and deliver therapy programs for children and families, supporting day-to-day activities and documentation in the client record.

Ideal candidates hold Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance (or are enrolled in an allied health degree), have experience with children or additional needs, strong communication and teamwork skills,

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance or enrolment in an allied health degree.
• Experience with children or individuals with additional needs is valued.
• Strong communication, organisational and observational skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently in community settings.
• Current WWCC (or equivalent), NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid, driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy activities under the guidance of Therapists.
• Prepare resources, materials and therapy spaces for sessions.
• Observe and report client progress with accurate case notes.
• Support communication with families, carers, educators and health providers.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a collaborative culture.

Early Start Australia is seeking a motivated and caring Allied Health Assistant to join our Durack team on a casual basis. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with our Therapists to plan, prepare and deliver therapy programs that help clients reach their individual goals. You’ll support day‑to‑day therapy activities, assist with session preparation, collect observations, and engage with families, carers and key stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care.

About you:

• Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance, relevant experience, or current enrolment in an allied health degree is beneficial
• Experience working with children or individuals with additional needs is highly valued

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently in community settings
