Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience preparing espresso-based beverages.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak periods.
• Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of health and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to assist across multiple areas of the café.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffee drinks and other beverages with precision and consistency
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including regular sanitisation of equipment and surfaces
• Assist with food preparation, plating and presentation according to established standards
• Stock and rotate inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of coffee, milk, food items and consumables
• Provide friendly, attentive and professional customer service to all guests
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Support general café operations as required
