WhitePage Consultancy – South Brisbane QLD is seeking an experienced Cook to join Arbour Restaurant & Bar on a full-time basis. You will work across breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on consistency and high presentation standards.

The role requires hands-on kitchen work, strong adherence to food safety, and flexibility to roster across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Salary ranges from AUD 75,000 to 85,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant experience as a Cook in a restaurant, hotel or comparable commercial kitchen.
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on‑the‑job training, or an AQF Certificate IV in commercial cookery or closely related field.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook dishes to order across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Check deliveries for freshness and use‑by dates, complete mise en place.
• Weigh and measure ingredients to standard recipes for consistency.
• Adapt dishes to dietary/allergen requests, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten‑free options.
• Work through breakfast, lunch and dinner peaks with the team and coordinate with the pass.
• Assist Head Chef with menu planning and seasonal specials, and help with stock forecasting.
