Job summary

Aje Bondi is seeking a Part Time Inventory Lead (30 hours per week) to oversee stock across the boutique. You will scan deliveries, complete cycle counts, manage stock movement and ensure accurate placement of items, with a focus on turning stock into sales while upholding presentation standards.

You will also deliver exceptional customer service, educate shoppers on fabrics and fit, operate the POS, and support the management team with opening/closing duties and stockroom organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock control and cycle counts.
• Ability to lift up to 16kg.
• Familiarity with POS system and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Scan and process new stock deliveries and replenishments.
• Complete weekly cycle counts to investigate discrepancies.
• Manage floor-to-door, click-and-collect, and ship-from-store transactions.
• Maintain stock locations and ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
• Take ownership of back-of-house operations and keep areas clean and organized.
• Escalate stock issues to Head Office promptly.
• Support stockroom and store operations during new collection drops.
• Assist sales team with replenishment, steaming, and retrieving stock.
• Collaborate with management and Visual Merchandising as required.

About this opportunity:

Being experienced and passionate about inventory management you will be responsible for:

Inventory Management:

• Scan and process all new stock deliveries and replenishments, ensuring stock is accurately received and stored in the correct locations.
• Complete weekly cycle counts to investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Actioning and managing all Floor to Door transactions, Click and Collects and Ship from store transactions in a timely manner
• Complete weekly console requirements as directed.
• Fulfil stock movement requests from the sales team quickly and efficiently to support customer sales opportunities and store operations.
• Ensure all stock is located in its designated location and inventory accuracy is maintained at all times.
• Maintain onsite and offsite storage areas to a high standard, ensuring all stock is clearly labelled, organised and stored in the correct containers.
• Take full ownership of the back-of-house operation, ensuring all areas remain clean, organised and presentation-ready throughout the day.
• Promptly identify and ***escalate*** any stock-related issues, including missing units in deliveries, online order discrepancies or incorrect stock in transfers, through the appropriate Head Office channels.
• Stay across key business dates, including new collection launches and upcoming sales, ensuring the stockroom is appropriately stocked, organised and prepared to support the retail team.
• Work closely with the Store Management team on new collection drops and support the Visual Merchandising team as required.
• Support seamless product flow between deliveries, the stockroom, offsite storage and the sales floor.
• Assist the sales team with put-backs, replenishment, steaming and retrieving stock for guests when required.
• Be proactive in identifying ways to improve stockroom efficiency and support the overall operation of the boutique.

Customer Service

• Providing impeccable customer service to all customers
• Creating a personalised shopping experience for the Aje customer, by effectively educating the customer on the sustainable fabrics, features, fit, and functionality of the product.
• Acting as a brand ambassador driven by your love for the brand
• Processing sales accurately through cash handling and the POS (point of sale) system

You will have:
