Job summary

Sydney Airport Traffic Controllers are sought to direct heavy vehicle movements and maintain safe, efficient flow in the airport freight precinct. This hands-on outdoors role involves guiding trucks to loading areas and coordinating with airport security.

Shifts are 8 hours, Mon–Sun, with AM starts at 5:00am and PM starts at 1:00pm. A current Traffic Control Ticket is mandatory; experience in transport or logistics is preferred. Immediate start and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Traffic Control Ticket is mandatory.
• Experience in transport, logistics or warehousing is preferred.
• Strong communication and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming trucks to the correct import or export loading areas.
• Monitor truck movements throughout the freight precinct.
• Enforce site traffic management procedures and parking zones.
• Coordinate vehicle flow with airport security teams and drivers.
• Escalate driver disputes or non-compliance to Security Team.
