Smith Plant Hire is seeking a licensed Traffic Controller to operate a pilot vehicle (ute) for a road maintenance crew in Western NSW on a FIFO 10 days on / 4 days off roster. Travel to and from site is provided in a company vehicle. You will spot, set up traffic signs, coordinate access, and ensure WHS compliance.

Requirements include a NSW TC certification, White Card, a clean driver’s record, and willingness to work long 10-hour days. Accommodation is provided onsite and allowances apply.

Qualifikationen

• A valid NSW Traffic Controller certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• White card is mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Act as a spotter / in a ute for a road maintenance crew.
• Set up, maintain and remove traffic control signs and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate access and traffic movements with site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with WHS regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic control activities.
• Keep the site vehicle clean and tidy.
