Job summary

Western Sydney International Airport is seeking an experienced Asset Maintenance professional to join the Maintenance team. The role focuses on first response duties, supervising contractors, and coordinating maintenance across airside, landside and terminal operations.

The position requires experience in electrical/mechanical building maintenance, familiarity with BMS/AMS systems, and the ability to work 4 days on / 4 days off in 12-hour shifts, starting early mornings or late afternoons.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience in airport or complex industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-response activities across the airport during shift, including triage and emergency management.
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance and minor works performed by service providers.
• Troubleshoot faults, identify issues, and report for follow-up.
• Coordinate isolations, shutdowns, and sub-permit requests.
• Work with BMS and AMS systems to monitor operations on-site.
