Job summary

Western Sydney Airport is seeking an experienced Asset Management professional to lead first response duties and coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance across airside, landside and the terminal.

Reporting to the Airport Maintenance Manager, you will supervise service providers, respond to urgent repairs, ensure safety compliance, and maintain Building Management and Asset Management Systems while working a 12‑hour shift on a 4-on/4-off roster (start times 5am or 5pm).

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical/ mechanical experience in Building Maintenance or Facilities Management.
• Airport industry experience preferred or in complex industrial environments.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first response activities across the airport including triage, isolations and coordination of emergencies.
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities by contractors to ensure safe and efficient operation of all systems.
• Troubleshoot faults by inspection, diagnosis and reporting for follow-up by service providers via the AMS.
• Liaise with service providers and stakeholders to ensure efficient airport operation.
• Ensure safety documentation and inspections are conducted in line with regulations.
• Oversee shutdown requests and sub-permit processes as required.
• Monitor Building Management System (BMS) and AMS on-site and address related issues.
