Job summary

Airport Development Group (ADG) is seeking a Groundskeeper for Darwin International Airport to maintain and beautify expansive grounds and support safety and compliance across airport infrastructure.

You will operate mowers, trimmers, tractors and power tools, work with a collaborative facilities team, and be on-call for emergencies, with opportunities to develop skills across maintenance tasks and asset inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating mowers, trimmers, tractors, and power tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivation, initiative and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sustainable land management practices.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, pruning, painting, and sprucing up airport grounds.
• Operating landscaping equipment and tools safely.
• Escorting contractors airside.
• Replacing and repairing airside furniture as needed.
• Monitoring and reporting on infrastructure condition.
• Responding to emergencies when on call.
