Job summary
Airport Development Group (ADG) is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our facilities team at Darwin International Airport. You will maintain and beautify expansive airport grounds using commercial mowers, trimmers and other equipment while supporting inspections and repairs of airport infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance.
Ideal candidates have experience safely operating landscaping equipment, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience safely operating mowers, trimmers, tractors and power tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivation, initiative and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sustainable land management best practices.
- Availability for an on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, pruning, painting and sprucing up airport grounds.
- Operating landscaping equipment and tools safely.
- Escorting contractors airside.
- Replacing and repairing airside furniture as needed.
- Monitoring and reporting on infrastructure condition.
- Responding to emergencies when on call.
